Classification
The seminar ends with awarding a credit assessment received for active work. This includes attendance at individual seminars and solving homeworks. In particular, it is required to attend at least 8 seminars and to solve correctly at least one homework from each group. See more information below.
Attendance
The attendance of the seminars will be tracked. A student is required to attend at least 8 seminars in order to be awarded the assessment. In the case of a long-time absence caused by serious and provable problems, the course guarantee may set individual attendance requirements.
Homeworks
There will be homeworks available for some topics in order to practise them better. A homework might be in the form of a quiz, a numerical problem, a simple proof or a programming task. The homeworks will be split into three groups. In each group, there will be at least 2 homeworks and it is required to solve at least one homework in each group correctly and in due time. There will always be at least one week between the homework assignment and its deadline.
The evaluation is governed by the Study and Examination Rules for Students at CTU, which you can find on page Legislation and Study Regulations.
